The past weekend we were lucky enough to have clear skies on both Friday and Saturday nights. Watching the stars pop is just...WOW! Jupiter was the first light we saw, then slowly more and more stars became visible, until the entire shy was lit up. The Milky Way was right above us. This is not my picture. Next time I go out there on a clear night I will be brining back some pictures. I tried to figure it out. I even read the manual for my camera but nope! Fortunately for me, my daughter-in-law loves to take long-exposure shots, so she will be teaching me how to do that with my camera.
